Circle of Animal Lovers
Circle of Animal Lovers is a registered non-profitable, non-political, charitable animal welfare Non-Government Organisation working since 1992 for the cause of animals to ameliorate their condition. The organisation was set up with the aim to prevent cruelty against animals. The main activity of our society is to control the stray dog population through a programme of sterilisation. Mrs. Irani Mukherjee, the Hon. Founder Chairperson, started it all by herself with her own resources. Gradually she was successful in gathering few more people and got the society registered and recognized. The organisation is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.

Friendicoes SECA (Society for the Eradication of Cruelty to Animals) is a registered non-profit charity (Registration no. 10188 under the Societies Registration Act 1860). They are an Associate Society of RSPCA, UK and a Member Society of World Society for Protection of Animals, UK. They are recognized and affiliated to the Animal Welfare Board of India, Chennai, India which is the country’s national apex body. They are now almost 28 years old (date of registration: 23 April, 1979) and have been working in the city of Delhi and its environs since then. They have a sanctuary for animals in Gurgaon, 45 km from Delhi, where they provide a home to all the rescued dogs, cats and other animals that cannot be released back.
