Pet Dog’s Warm Coat Keeps Girl Alive

UNITED KINGDOM: A three-year-old girl survived near-freezing conditions by snuggling up to her pet dog. Victoria Bensch wandered from her home at dusk in just a T-shirt and underwear. She was found with Blue, her Queensland heeler, after her parents and rescuers had searched mountains near Cordes Lakes, Arizona. Sgt Jeff Newnum of Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said Blue was "probably one of the things that saved her life". Victoria is expected to make full recovery after being treated for frostbite.
