Disposition: Simba is a very friendly and loving dog. He also
likes to make friends with other animals. In fact, this has gotten
him into trouble various times in the past. Once, his advances
backfired, when he was bitten by a stray dog. He adores being
with the family at all times and loathes being alone.
Daily Diet:
Simba eats twice a day and like us, is vegetarian.
His diet comprises daliya, milk, eggs, boiled potatoes and
bananas.
Favourite Treats: He loves ice cream.
Simba the Father: Simba has a son, who we also been
adopted. The latter lives in our farmhouse on the outskirts
of the city. Sometimes, we leave Simba there also and both
of them have a jolly good time running around in the open
ground. Neither has a clue that the other is his kin.
Eccentricities/Quirks: Whenever the door is ajar, he will run
away to the main road. At first, we thought he was chasing
females but upon following him, we found him sitting
attentively next to a street hawker selling scrambled eggs!
Favourite Pastime:
Simba loves sitting on the garden swing
and snoozing on the sofa. He also loves barking at all the birds
that stop by our garden.
Fears, if any: He’s scared of my father, as he’s the only one who’s
strict with him in the house. He’s also frightened of crackers,
thunder and belts.
Crazy About: Balls. He can play ball any time of the day. Often,
he’ll come to me with a ball in his mouth, begging me to play
with him.
Most Attached to: My mother and me.
